driving to anime central 2007

the trip from philly to rosemont, illinois was about 14-16 hours of green rolling hills, tall towering trees, ever-present construction, and cookie-cutter rest stops. believe it or not, most all of these shots were taken from the inside of a speeding van. my len's got reach! photos from the actual convention coming shortly.

i'm back from anime central 2007. lots of work to catch up on, so here are a few portraits from acen to tide your thirst for visual goodness while i process through the rest of the photos.
it was a spectacular event with a huge turnout. they were celebrating their 10th anniversary, so things were in high gear. sadly, i heard they had a few technical snafus, holding people up in the pre-reg and registration lines for three plus hours.
but all in all, the energy was sizz-lean. i wish i had taken more photos (a complete gallery will be online shortly), but its pretty hard when you're focused on doing work from morning to night going on barely three hours sleep each night.
