aahhhh! the only word to describe home and the bliss of sunshine. a moment i've been anxiously awaiting for a long while now. my last year in new york was entirely unexpected and awesome, but i'm happy to finally be home and warm.

on another note, you may notice some changes to the website. i've always been meaning to flesh things out around here and make it easier and more interesting to poke around the site. look forward to more updates as the weeks roll by.

lauren and i make minja and thing out of tshirt and some fabric. the world is a more dangerous place. minja has supremely deadly minja stars and ain't afraid to throw curry powder up your nose. and thing is.. well, insanely cute. and absolutely crazy.

i had the great opportunity to photograph the lukasiks and their new baby, katharine, in their home last sunday. not only are mark and kristine amazingly warm and loving people, but they run a mean kitchen, turning out some of the best food to ever fill my belly.

lauren and i had previously dropped in on them for christmas dinner a few weeks back, when baby katharine was celebrating her first christmas.
