ohh in orlando
ohh it was pretty in orlando. beautiful nights and spectacular mornings. i would come out from the convention hall and the sunshine would hit me. a breeze picked up. the lake sparkled right in front of me. it was perfect.
the disney coronado resorts were pretty from a distance, much chintzier up close. cascading fountains, pretty decorative motifs, beautiful landscaping that seemed too planned and temporary to be satisfying.
but i loved the morning walk from the hotel room to the convention hall. it would be breaking light, and the air was crisp like fresh sheets. cold water on a summer day.
