on the train from new york to philly, then trucking it from philly to d.c. for katsucon last weekend. turnout was really strong considering the weather was cold and blustery as hell. as always, it was great to see everyone again, faces old and new. all the vendors, connor, drew, cameron, di(e)anna, michael, jesse, jenny, emily & friends, the amazingly talented melissa diaz, alan, robert & peggy, lauren, luna & alex, alan, larisa, toya & maria, and all the rest y'all. drop me an email to keep in touch, or friend me on myspace. remember to remind me who you are, as i meet a lot of people at the cons.

making tees for katsucon

due to oversights on my part, i ended up having only two and a half days to print up 150 new shirts, which ain't no small feat. i'm happy to say that they came out even better than expected. lugging them from new york to katsucon proved to be another herculean task.

i'm headed on my way to washington d.c. for katsucon with two huge bags of handmade tshirts. it's been snowing up a storm out here, but like the mailman, come snow or come shine, i'm gonna deliver my goodness to the masses.

spread a little love and light tonite. do a little dance even. rub someone's tummy and kiss them from the inside out. find their inner child and get a little buck wild. hell, set up a fort and play doctor already. remember to breathe deeply and it shouldn't hurt one bit.

riding at the front of the train is fun because you can look out the glass window of the first door and see yourself hurtling down the tracks, people on the platform passing by in a whirr as you come to the station stop. it's almost like an experience from the early part of the 20th century, little changed from then except for newer looking subway cars. and graffiti.
