j+j performed a miracle under grace by moving their saturday wedding a day ahead of schedule in order to avoid hurricane irene. seriously, who has to do that? they were blessed with a gorgeous day (beautiful sunlight and a friendly breeze), as well as friends & family who were happy to flow with things and above all, celebrate love.

i had an upcoming bride ask about photos in central park, so i found this photo of h+t in the mall at central park (it's around 72nd st, in the center of the park). it is one of the most picturesque spots in the park to me, and i could shoot here any season hot or cold.

i re-processed the photo, so it's interesting to note how i'm balancing the colors and light in different ways than before (very much like a chef will flavor his dish). i softened certain aspects of the photo, and intensified the overall palette.. makes it prettier and more evocative to me.

some formals with j+j.. hair+makeup by lindsey jones, who has the cutest business card (sorry, no photo). obviously a sign of good taste.

since many couples have been asking for black'n'whites recently, i am working on perfecting my form. the b&w's of j+j on page 2 are very classic to me. i appreciate that most of those moments developed naturally.

swifty said he misses the random day-in-the-life updates i used to post for life magical. i miss them too. so this one is for swifty..
