do not wake the cheeta
i've drifted in and out of sleep for the last seven hours, hoping to get enough energy to wake up and get to the gettin'. i probably should have just gone to sleep proper, but my mind's restless and work calls.
i got back from animeusa in washington d.c. on tuesday, and just as quickly shot out to vegas the next morning. i'll be in vegas for the next few days, then i fly down to southern california on saturday to shoot a wedding. i spend the following three days with my sketch comedy group in southern california, after which we fly out to new york for our very first new york performance (!!) the weekend of oct 24th & 25th. the following monday it's off to a convention in new jersey, which puts the final wrap on my october.
i can't quite believe how much i've travelled & worked this year. it's all a bit much. ohio, virginia, seattle, pittsburgh, san diego, san luis obispo, a few visits to chicago, indianapolis, philadelphia (lots of philly!), new jersey, san francisco, vegas (twice), connecticutt, baltimore, d.c. doesn't it make your head spin? my last trip of the year will be out to puerto rico in a few weeks to shoot a wedding, after which i take a much needed week of r&r. my only regret with all this work is that it's been hard for me to keep pace with deadlines to my clients, so my apologies to people i've unfortunately let down.
but remember, when all's said and done, do not wake the cheeta, goto 1834, goto party! if i don't keep a light heart about all of this, i think i just might explode.
