the skies are dusky and there's a chill in the air. winter has really set in on the east. it makes me wish i'd made time to pick up some gloves. just have to keep my eyes open now.
we left illinois behind a few days ago. what was it, was it remarkable? i'm not entirely sure. there was too much to process. still.
right now, i'm really enjoying the change of colors. it's like nature discovered fire and we're catching trees as they blush to a thousand deaths, drawn out over weeks.
i was in sam's club last night and they had roses with colors to rival autumn leaves. my mom is a practical connoisseur of roses, so i've seen my share, but these roses were pure gothic. i had to get a dozen.
today it's tandokucon, next week its animeusa in virginia.
